ABOUT
Marzetta's House Publishing is a Black, woman-owned publishing house on a mission to empower marginalized voices. We create content that is inclusive and affirming of the LGBTQ+ community and works to expand the narratives of Black authors. We also provide resources to aspiring writers, authors and content creators to help them reach their goals. At Marzetta's House Publishing, we are dedicated to creating spaces for diverse voices and stories to be heard, seen and shared. We believe in the power of stories and are passionate about connecting and uplifting communities through the written word.
Based in Austin, Texas, Marzetta's House is open to collaboration internationally. Named after her great-grandmother, Marzetta created this creative and communal space to be a home for those who need healing, rest, and nourishment. We aim to do this in-person and virtually through literature, workshops, and music.
