Meet Marzetta

Kaitlyn Marzetta McClung

Kaitlyn Marzetta McClung is an Austin-based multidisciplinary artist, musician, and literary scholar. Rooted in Black Southern queerness and womanhood, Marzetta’s work bridges creativity and academia. Marzetta was named a 2024 emerging artist by the Utah Literary Arts Festival.

A published poet and essayist, Marzetta has performed at the NYC Poetry Festival, Deep Vellum Books in Dallas, and bookstores across the United States. Her debut book, The Garden: Poems, is available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
